The function of this Board is protect the public of Victoria by:

Providing for the Registration of Chiropractors and Chiropractic Students.

Receiving notifications about the professional conduct, professional performance and the ability of a registered practitioner to practice as a Chiropractor.

Investigating notifications about the professional conduct, professional performance and the ability of a registered practitioner to practice as a Chiropractor and to impose sanctions where necessary.

Investigating the suitability of a student to undertake clinical training.

Regulating the advertising of Chiropractic services.

Approving courses of study that provide a qualification for registration as a Chiropractor.

Issuing and publishing codes and guidelines for Chiropractors and Chiropractic students in relation to the provision of both their health services and their professional performance.
